Friday 16th December – Thursday 22nd December 2022 (4pm until 6pm)
To help a little at this time, we at Baglan Funeral Home invite you to visit our memorial Christmas tree where you can write your own personal message of remembrance and place it on the Christmas tree located in the garden of our funeral home.
Over recent times, we have found this to be a very popular event and this is the third year that we have placed a Christmas tree of Remembrance in our garden.
We offer this facility for the whole of the community and not just for the families for whom we have had the privilege of supporting directly at their time of loss.
Every year we are told how much families value having this opportunity, so that they can write messages and place a memory on the tree.
Its not just the families who benefit. If people feel able, we ask that they consider making a voluntary donation (of any size) to a group of charities we select.
We then distribute the money evenly between the selected local charities.
Our Tree of Remembrance will be open daily from Friday 16th December until Thursday 22nd 2022 from 4pm until 6pm, located in the garden at the rear of the funeral home.
Bereavement support is very important and sometimes people can struggle to come to terms with their loss. If this is the case, we can advise you on practical support that is available through the National Society of Allied and Independent Funeral Directors.
They will be able to help you understand your experience of grief, develop self-care, coping strategies and support you to deal with the challenges you may be facing.
The service is confidential and free of charge via the Baglan Funeral Home
